Biography

Vanessa Stapleton MA, LPC, NCC, CADC II, MAC, SAP


I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II) , Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) and Substance Abuse Professional (DOT/SAP) with many years of experience in the counseling profession. I have worked with diverse populations who face a range of barriers that include anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship conflict, anger management, substance abuse, grief and loss, and other emotional concerns. I am goal oriented and focus my attention on assisting clients to find solutions to the issues they face. I offer a therapeutic approach that is strength-based and grounded in cognitive behavioral and person-centered theories to provide insight, empowerment, and growth. Each counseling session is tailored to meet the client’s special needs. I also provide a safe environment to build autonomy, self-esteem, and coping skills that can be implemented to assist in daily living.
